人間だけが英雄でない
James Crane worked on the 101st floor of Tower 1 of the World Trade Center.
ジェイムス・クレィンは世界貿易センター北棟の101階で働いていました｡
He is blind so he has a goldenretriever named Daisy.
彼は目が不自由です、それでデイジーという名前の
ゴールデンレトリバー（雌）を連れていました｡
After the plane hit 20 stories below, James knew that he was doomed,
so he let Daisy go, out of an act of love.
飛行機が20階下へ衝突した後、ジェイムスは自分の運命を悟りました、
それで愛撫してデイジーを解き放しました｡
She darted away into the darkened hallway.
デイジーは暗くなった廊下へ飛んで行きました。
Choking on the fumes of the jet fuel and the smoke James was just waiting to die.
気化したジェット燃料と煙で息がつまり、ジェイムスは死を待つだけでした｡
About 30 minutes later, Daisy comes back along with James' boss,
who Daisy just happened to pick up on floor112.
約30分後、デイジーは偶然112階で見つけた、
ジェイムスの上司と一緒に戻ってきました｡
On her first run of the building, she leads James, James' boss,
and about 300 more people out of the doomed building.
北棟での最初の走りで、デイジーはジェイムスとジェイムスの上司、
それに約300名もの人びとを悲運のビルから導き出しました｡
But she wasn't through yet, she knew there were others who were trapped.
しかしまだデイジーの活躍は終わってはいません、
デイジーはその他にも閉じ込められている人びとが居る事を知っていました｡
So, highly against James' wishes she ran back in the building.
それで、ジェイムスの願いを振り切り、
デイジーは悲運のビルへ走って戻りました｡
On her second run, she saved 392 lives.
二番目の走りで、デイジーは392名の命を救いました｡
Again she went back in.
またデイジーはビルの中へ戻って行きました｡
During this run, the building collapses.
この走りの最中に、そのビルは崩壊しました｡
